Management of Suspected COVID-19 Cases in Primary Health Care

For effective control and prevention of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)pandemic in Georgia, a protocol was developed by the Georgian Association of Family Medicine Professionals based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the order of the Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia. The aim of the protocol is to improve the quality of management of suspected COVID-19 cases and cases of infected people with the virus at the primary health care level. 

Kutaisi D. Nazarishvili Family Medicine Regional Training Center Coordinator, family doctor Ketevan Jugheli, who is also involved in the project, delivered a lecture on case management at the primary health care level to the students of ATSU Faculty of Medicine.The lecture ended with a discussion.
