THE CAUCASUS MOUNTAIN FORUM

The Caucasus Network for Sustainable Development of Mountain Regions (Sustainable Caucasus) coordination unit of  Scientific Network for the Caucasus Mountain Region announces the Third Caucasus Mountain Forum 2023 (CMF3), The Caucasus Mountain Forum is a key initiative of the Scientific Network for the Caucasus Mountain Regions which has been a tradition since 2016. The forum is held every two years and brings together about 200 participants from the Caucasus and Europe.

Held biannually, the forum is a scientific conference and gives Caucasian and international scientists and other stakeholders the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge, as well as assess the progress of Caucasian scientific research for the sustainable development of mountain regions over the past two years.

 The Third Caucasus Mountain Forum will be held in Kutaisi, Georgia, from  4-6 July, 2023 under the title: Transdisciplinarity for Sustainable Development: Role of Caucasus Scientists” and hosted by the Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University.

 The Caucasus Network for Sustainable Development of Mountain Regions (Sustainable Caucasus) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University.The purpose of this cooperation is to facilitate the involvement of various stakeholders in international scientific networks and to jointly organise the Third Caucasus Mountain Forum in Georgia.
