We are pleased to invite you to the VII International Scientific Conference “Language and Culture”, dedicated to the Georgian writer Otia Ioseliani
Conference covers the following fields:
• Grammar – Modern conditions, development trends (Morphology, Syntax);
• Language interaction in the modern world;
• Methodological and Gnoseological problems of modern linguistics;
• Functional and cognitive research of Language Semantics and Grammar;
• Lexicological problems;
• Mythological and folklore motifs;
• The language of contemporary art;
• Linguocultural interpretation of text;
• Language and archeology;
• Translation and intercultural communications;
• National languages and culture, their specificity and interrelations;
• Fiction and its cultural context;
• Theory and Methodology of Journalism;
• Methods of teaching humanitarian disciplines;
• Theory and Practice of Journalism;
• History and Modernity
The conference includes plenary and sectional sessions.
Conference Languages: Georgian, English and Russian.
Time limit:
Presentation - 10 minutes
Discussion – 5 minutes

Distant participation
The Organizing Committee will select the conference papers. The conference papers will be published.
After receiving a notification of acceptance the applicant should pay the conference fee $40 (For Participants from abroad), $35 (For Distant Participants), 80 GEL for local participants. The fee should be transferred to the bank account.

Upon receiving a notification of acceptance by 20th of February, applicants should send the paper and pay the conference fee.
Conference published manuscript will receive the manuscript by post.
