With the financial support of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Auswärtiges Amt), a master class on "German Language and Economics" (Wirtschaftsdeutsch) was organized on December 12-18, 2018 by the Department of German Philology of the Akaki Tsereteli State University and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
German language professors from different universities of Georgia took part in the master class. The special course was led by an invited specialist Ekaterina Loskunikova (Wildau Technical University).
The participants of the master class jointly discussed and analyzed the methods, examples, activities and their significance for the development of the country's economy in general in the German language lesson. The aim of the master class was also to strengthen the connections between different universities of Georgia. In addition to theoretical and practical auditorium meetings, the special course also included cognitive activities, sightseeing of Kutaisi and Tskaltubo industrial facilities. The results of the master class work were positively evaluated by the organizers and participants.
