Christmas Meeting at the English Speaking Club

On 25th of December, 2020 English Speaking Club had its last meeting of the year, where the club members gathered to celebrate Christmas. They shared the information about various strange and fascinating traditions associated with the holiday in different countries of the world. In addition, they took part in several entertaining and intellectual games and solved various fun tasks in groups, as well as sharing their best memories of Christmas.

Due to the pandemics the club members had to meet remotely on the Microsoft Teams which clearly affected the scale of the event. That is why the students spoke wistfully about 2019 Christmas gathering where English language and Literature students (BA) gave fascinating performances in front of the audience.

Note:
The English Speaking Club was organized on the initiative of teachers and students of English Language and Literature nearly 40 years ago, when they decided to find something new, challenging and exciting for out-of-class language activities. That is how the idea of creating the English Speaking Club was born. This is a place where students from any faculty have a chance to communicate in a friendly, English-speaking atmosphere and meet new, interesting people.
