UNICEF-Supported Series of Lectures on “Child Rights”

The Faculty of Pedagogy at Akaki Tsereteli State University started a UNICEF-supported course on "Child Rights", which aims at training a child rights-oriented educator.

On April 1, a lecture and practical activities were held at the university's Child Rights Center. The course was led by Sofio Moralishvili, child rights expert, associate professor at Akaki Tsereteli State University.

Mamuli Buchukhishvili, dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, head of the Child Rights Center and Maia Akhvlediani, head of the Department of Pedagogy, associate professor, child rights expert attended the lecture.

Discussions were focused on the issue of child rights in education, changes in faculty curricula, current activities, and future interventions.
