On November 26, the project implemented by the Department of English Philology of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and the Association of English Language Teachers (ETAG) with the funding of the Hornby Educational Foundation, which has been ongoing since February 2022, ended with a summary conference.
The goal of the project was to promote the research of teachers' pedagogical practice, to equip them with the knowledge of research methods and the skills of its practical implementation. The project was implemented by Assoc. Professors Nino Nizharadze, Maya Alavidze and Natia Zviadadze and teachers from public and private schools of Imereti were involved in it. At the summary conference, teachers presented the results of their research. The presentations were followed by questions and discussion. The research was highly evaluated by the Dean of the Pedagogical Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Mamuli Buchukhishvili, who invited speakers to the annual conference of the Faculty of Pedagogy.

On September 1, 2022, at Akaki Tsereteli State University, at the Children's Rights Knowledge Center, Alberto Musati, the adviser of the Regional Office of the United Nations Children's Fund for Europe and Asia, and representatives of the Georgia Department of the United Nations Children's Fund met with the officials of the university and the administration of the pedagogical faculty.

On May 2, Ghassan Khalil delivered a public lecture on: "Value-based leadership" for ATSU students and academic staff at Akaki Tsereteli State University. The lecture was organized by the Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences (Dean Nana Shonia) and the Faculty of Pedagogy (Dean Mamuli Buchukhishvili).

On May 3, 2022, at Tkibuli Municipality Orpiri Public School (Director Irina Berekashvili), an award ceremony was held for the winner of the competition project "Promoting the Teaching of Children's Rights in Schools," announced by UNICEF and Akaki Tsereteli State University Child Rights Center.

The school received a variety of literature and prizes on child rights. All teachers and students involved in the project were awarded certificates of participation. The school and the principal received a certificate and the commemorative medal from the Children's Rights Center.

On May 2, Akaki Tsereteli State University Child Rights Center hosted a meeting of European University researchers with the academic staff and students of Akaki Tsereteli State University. The research is related to the teaching of European values in Georgian schools.
Researchers presented interesting topics: Development of school culture and critical thinking - Trainers: Giorgi Lekveishvili and Lia Gabinashvili; Optimization of teaching and assessment methods - trainers Lela Abdushelishvili, Tamar Abazadze.
An interesting discussion was held, with the participation of academic staff and students.
An agreement on future cooperation has been reached between the European University and the administration of the Faculty of Pedagogy.
The meeting was attended by the Head of UNICEF in Georgia, Ghasan Khalili, Honorary Professor of the University, Mamuli Buchukhishvili, Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Nato Kobuladze, USAID Imereti Regional Coordinator.
