On April 18-19, Professor Mireille Ducas of the University of Rennes (France) met with undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, "Mathematics" and "Computer Science" programmes.
Ms. Dukas delivered a lecture on the Semantic Web. The lecture was followed by a discussion with the students' active participation.
The purpose of the meeting was to select candidates to study at the University of Rennes within the framework of the Erasmus + exchange program.

On June 15-16, the International Scientific Conference "Groups and Topological Groups" organized by Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences was held at Akaki Tsereteli State University.
The conference has been held annually since 1972 in various European countries. In 2018 the conference was held at Akaki Tsereteli State University, Kutaisi. The conference was attended by well-known scientists from Germany, Italy, Hungary, Mexico, Iran, Austria and Georgia.
