An academic community is really being created in the online lectures of Atsu Medical School, this time another interesting guest - Kakhaber Lazarashvili spoke about the success of the British National Health Service (NHS), the model of medical education, online learning experience and online learning challenges.

Gocha Giorgidze, Head of the Imereti Division of the Public Health Department of National Center for Disease Control and Public Health has joined the online audience of the Faculty of Medicine. He spoke about the trends and expectations of the Covid 19 pandemic in Georgia, and answered numerous questions from students.

SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) infection no longer has geographical boundaries; there is a growing interest towards the situation in different countries. Therefore, the online lecture held by Tamar Vashakmadze, Medical Director of Hospital Medicine Program at West Florida Hospital, Pensacola, aroused great interest in students of the Faculty of Medicine. She shared her experience of managing SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) infection.

Eka Kavtaradze, Deputy General Director of Medical Corporation Evex, conducted online lecture for ATSU students and staff. She assessed the capabilities of the Georgian healthcare sector during SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic and talked about ways to solve the problems. Giorgi Pkhakadze, MD.PhD, MPH, Member of the UN Secretary-General's Independent Accountability Panel (EWEC), joined the meeting from France.

The fight against the pandemic caused by COVID-19 infection continues in the absence of etiological treatment methods and prophylactic vaccination.
