TESOL Virtual Convention, one of the world’s largest forums in the field of English language teaching was held on July 16-18, 2020. Thanks to the US Embassy and US State Department twenty members of the English Philology Department had an amazing opportunity to join the global community of English language professionals and learn from and with the best in the field. Three days of listening to plenary sessions of world’s leading experts in EFL/ESL, formal and informal online meetings with foreign colleagues, discussions are now over.
Georgian literature has always been a motivation for the political, social, cultural and aesthetic progress of our country. Writings instantly reacted to important events in our homeland and beyond its borders, and did not allow the nation to relax. It gave its place to the curved and the righteous, and showed the society with the most accurate compass the way to the truth. Rich and diverse Georgian literature has made a great contribution to the achievement of freedom in our country. Students and the attendants attentively listened to the public lecture "May 26 and Georgian Literature" and asked interesting questions.
