On February 2, 2022, a meeting was held at Akaki Tsereteli State University with the students of Kutaisi №23 Public School (Principal Nestan Sikharulidze), led by: School Mentor Teacher, Akaki Tsereteli State University Academic Doctor Shorena Tkemaladze and Public Defender Madona Bassila. A discussion was held on Article 32 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, "Child Labor". Students presented their vision of how child labor affects education and health.

On January 24-26, Akaki Tsereteli State University Child Rights Center hosted training for teachers of Abkhazia and Imereti region: Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Tkibuli, Terjola, Zestaponi, Kharagauli, Baghdati, Vani, Khoni, Samtredia public schools "Promoting the teaching of children's rights in schools." The aim of the training is: to acquire, deepen and reveal knowledge by teachers on topics related to the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

On December 21, 2021, at Akaki Tsereteli State University Child Rights Center, an open lesson was held for the third-grade students of Kutaisi N12 Public School (principal Natia Sulava).

On December 28, 2021, at Akaki Tsereteli State University Center for the Rights of the Child, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the competition within the framework of the USAID basic education program throughout Imereti.

Akaki Tsereteli State University, Faculty of Humanities, has a bilateral agreement with the Catholic University of Ruzomberok in the Slovak Republic, which provides for the exchange of academic staff and students. On November 1-2, 2019, four professors from Ruzomberok Catholic University participated in the international conference "Humanities in the Age of Globalization" organized by the Faculty of Humanities at Akaki Tsereteli State University. In 2021, the Faculty of Humanities of the Catholic University of Ruzomberok hosted Irakli Tskhvediani, Professor of English Philology at the Faculty of Humanities of Akaki Tsereteli State University, whose visit was funded by the Research Fellowship Program of the Slovak Republic. As a result of close cooperation between the universities, Ruzomberok Catholic University will host two undergraduate students of English Language and Literature of Akaki Tsereteli State University.
