Based on the Memorandum of Understanding between the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and Akaki Tsereteli State University in Georgia on December 1, 2020, Akaki Tsereteli State University established a Child Rights Knowledge Center to integrate inclusive and child rights-oriented knowledge, attitudes and practices.

The Erasmus + grant project Innovation in Curriculum for Social Inclusion (CISI) Workshop was held on February 22-23 at Akaki Tsereteli State University Child Rights Center. The representatives from the partner universities (Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, and Telavi Iakob Gogebashvili State University) attended the meeting.

On February 21, Grigol Robakidze University hosted the presentation of the book "Child Rights-Historical Evolution" by Ghassan Khalili, Honorary Doctor of Akaki Tsereteli State University, Head of UNICEF Georgia.

On February 1, 2022, a meeting was held at the Akaki Tsereteli State University Child Rights Center with methodologists, educators, and parents of the Kutaisi Nursery Association, №13 Kindergarten (Director Maka Abuladze).
