On February 19, 2021 representatives of Quality Assuarance Service at Akaki Tsereteli State University Salome Gogiashvili and Tamta Shavianidze held a virtual meeting with the students of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences and the faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences via Microsoft Teams on the topic of academic integrity. The event was dedicated to the Plagiarism Prevention Week and served to raise awareness on plagiarism issues, Academic Integrity Policy at ATSU and the ways how to avoid academic dishonesty.

On February 1-4, 2021 representatives of Foreign Affairs and Development Office at Akaki Tsereteli State University participated in a special conference Honesty, Trust, Unity: Academic Integrity & Education in a Globalized World on the topic of Academic Integrity in the RELO Kyiv region (Ukraine, Moldova and the Caucasus). The aim of the conference is to open a discussion about the history and future of academic integrity in Eastern Europe and to share practical approaches for building a culture of academic integrity, both at the classroom and administrative level. The conference was organized by the Regional English Language Office (U.S. Embassy) in partnership with TESOL-Ukraine, the English Teachers Association of Georgia, and International Black Sea University.

On January 25-27 and February 4, 2021 the first online training in Strategic Planning and International Cooperation Strategy was offered to the project consortium members by the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) within the frame of Erasmus + CBHE project Role of Universities in the Regional Development – RURD.
The content of the training programme was focused on the issues of strategic planning, university mission, vision, SWOT analysis, international cooperation and university - industry relationships. The training was equally dedicated to the theoretical part as well as practical topics.
The aim of the Erasmus + CBHE project Role of Universities in the Regional Development - RURD is to make Georgian regional HEIs more relevant to the communities and regions they are located and to serve as a basis for regional development.

On February 17-18, 2021 the Kick-Off meeting for the CBHE project co-founded by the European Commission - "Strengthening the Quality and Relevance of the Third Mission in Georgian Universities" (SQUARE) was organized online by the consortium leader, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
