In February info meetings with students of Akaki Tsereteli State University were held in the frame of Plagiarism Prevention Week and were dedicated to the plagiarism prevention, policies, mechanisms and tools that help prevent and detect cases of plagiarism and served to raise awareness of students on ways how to avoid academic dishonesty.
The event is a part of the EU-funded Erasmus+ CBHE INTEGRITY project, aimed at enhancing the quality of teaching, learning and assessment in Georgian higher education institutions based on the principles of academic integrity.
On February 19, 2020 representatives of Akaki Tsereteli State University held a meeting with the students and teachers at Kutaisi University in the frame of EU-funded Erasmus+ CBHE INTEGRITY project aimed at enhancing the quality of teaching, learning and assessment in Georgian higher education institutions based on the principles of academic integrity. On February 20-21, 2020 the first local meeting within the frames of Erasmus + CBHE project Curriculum Innovation for Social Inclusion (CISI) took place at Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University in Kutaisi, Georgia. The project manager met with ATSU administrative and academic staff as well as representatives of public schools and Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) that work on social inclusion of students with disabilities at schools through the enhancement of inclusive education quality. The foreseen activities were planned and needs of the institutions – direct and indirect beneficiaries were discussed.

In November 2019 the next round of working meetings within the frame of Erasmus + CBHE project Academic Integrity for Quality Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia (INTEGRITY) took place at Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University. Scientific supervisors attended the meetings that were focused on Academic Integrity, Plagiarism, Anti-Plagiarism Software, usage of Moodle and TURNITIN (software implemented in the frame of the INTEGRITY Project).
