In September - October, 2018 a training program in student advocacy is conducted at Georgian, Azerbaijani and Ukrainian universities – participants of the Erasmus+ CBHE project Advocacy Establishment for Students through Ombudsman Position (AESOP).
Each non-EU partner University runs a training program in student advocacy working in collaboration with the new Ombudspersons in accordance with the plan developed under the supervision of the EU partners.
The aim of the Project is to promote democratic “Student Advocacy” procedures in agreement with the Bologna Process in three countries from Eastern Neighbouring Area by establishing Ombudsman Offices.
Akaki Tsereteli State University (ATSU), the Coordinator of the Erasmus+ CBHE Project “Advocacy Establishment for Students Through Ombudsman Position” (AESOP), Project number: 561640-EEP-1-2015-1-AZ-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP hosted the Conference: Advocacy Establishment for Students through Ombudsman Position in Three Eastern Partnership Countries – Georgia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan on July 15-16, 2019 in Kutaisi, Georgia. In the frame of the project Ombuds Offices were established at beneficiary Universities in three Eastern Partnership countries. Universities and Ombuds Offices from Poland, Italy, Great Britain, Finland, Portugal and Austria were participants of the project.
In March-April 2019 the working meetings within the frame of Erasmus + CBHE project Academic Integrity for Quality Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia (INTEGRITY) took place at Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University. During the meetings scientific supervisors of MA and PhD students discussed and made decisions regarding usage of antiplagiarism software implemented in the frame of the INTEGRITY Project.
The aim of the Erasmus+ CBHE National Structural Measure Project – INTEGRITY is to ensuring Academic Integrity for quality teaching and learning through launching plagiarism prevention and detection mechanisms and policies in the beneficiary universities in Georgia.
In April 2019 the working meetings within the frame of Erasmus + CBHE project Academic Integrity for Quality Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia (INTEGRITY) took place at Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University. During the meetings Academic Integrity Issues and usage of moodle and antiplagiarism software implemented in the frame of the INTEGRITY Project were disscussed.

In January - February, 2019 three Georgian, four Azerbaijani and two Ukrainian universities – non_EU participants of the Erasmus+ CBHE project Advocacy Establishment for Students through Ombudsman Position (AESOP) hold a random survey among students/staff of the Universities to measure the impact of the established Ombuds Offices and attitudes toward student advocacy.
